Promoting Education and Attainment of the Highest Level of Knowledge and Understanding of Clinical Neurophysiology
The International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN) has member societies in 62 countries. The IFCN mission is to promote best practice in clinical neurophysiology through education and research throughout the world. And our vision is to improve healthcare worldwide by understanding the nervous system and optimizing the diagnosis and treatment of its disorders through clinical neurophysiology.
The IFCN is keen to develop partnerships with likeminded organizations in education, training, and in research and its governance. It is exploring collaborations with the Organization for Human Brain Mapping and with the International League Against Epilepsy. It has also reached out to its sister organisation, the International Organisation of Societies for Electrophysiological technology (OSET), to explore areas of training between clinicians and non-medically trained health care neurophysiologists. The European Chapter (EMEA) is a member of the European Brain Council, concerned about research funding in neuroscience in Europe, and has a memorandum of understanding with the European Academy of Neurology.
Please email the IFCN if interested in developing collaborations.
