Promoting Education and Attainment of the Highest Level of Knowledge and Understanding of Clinical Neurophysiology

The International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology (IFCN) has member societies in 62 countries. The IFCN mission is to promote best practice in clinical neurophysiology through education and research throughout the world. And our vision is to improve healthcare worldwide by understanding the nervous system and optimizing the diagnosis and treatment of its disorders through clinical neurophysiology.

Young Investigator Awards

The IFCN grants four Young Investigator awards.  Please click here for full information about these awards.  This award is available every four years (at the time of the ICCN).

IFCN Fellowships for Young Scientists (Age 35 or younger)

Further, the IFCN offers 100 fellowships (up to USD 1000) to attend the ICCN. Applicants must have an accepted abstract for this meeting and indicate when submitting the abstract that they wish to be considered for this award.  Payment of the fellowship will be on site at the meeting (so candidates must be registered for the meeting). Decisions are made by the IFCN ExCo. 

IFCN Travel Grants for IFCN Delegates of Member Societies

IFCN Delegates from less developed countries may be supported to attend the IFCN General Assembly at the ICCN. The IFCN offers up to 20 travel grants for IFCN delegates (up to USD 1.000). IFCN Delegates have to register for the ICCN and must personally attend the meeting of the IFCN General Assembly.
